REFLEXOLOGY
The oldest known document depicting practice of foot massage was unearthed in Egypt dated around 2,500 B.C. this is a wall carving on an Egyptian tomb. Other fragmented evidence shows that a form of Reflexology was used by the ancient Chinese and Babylonian cultures.
Egyptian scrolls spread the knowledge of foot massage and reflexes to Greece, Arabia and the Roman Empire.
Reflexology is a method of bringing about relaxation, balance and healing through the stimulation of particular points on the feet, or sometimes on the hands and even the ears! It has only recently been practiced in the West since it was re-discovered early this century by an American ear, nose and throat surgeon, Dr William Fitzgerald. He noted that pressure on specific parts of the body could have an effect on a related area. Reflex points on the feet and hands are linked to other areas and organs of the body.
Tension or congestion in any part of the foot mirrors tension or congestion in a corresponding part of the body, and treating the whole foot can have a deeply relaxing and healing effect on the whole body.

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE (CHAMPISSAGE)
This is an advanced combination of rhythmic strokes which soothe and re-balance the energy flow, creating feelings of calmness and peace, as well as easing muscle tension. The massage can be either stimulating or relaxing... or even a little of both!
The sequence covers the upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, scalp, face and ears. Traditionally, this is a treatment which can be performed anywhere, as not oils are normally used and it was designed tko be carried out over light clothing.

THERMO-AURICULAR THERAPY
It is an ancient and natural treatment, which in ancient Greek times was used for cleansing, purifying and healing on a spiritual level. Much later the amazing efficacy of the candles was discovered on a more physical level. There are many people from the Mediterranean and Latin American Countries, who remember receiving ear candle treatments as children. Also, Shaman Healers are renowned in the traditional use within initiation rituals and healing ceremonies. EFT ~ Emotional Freedom Technique
This is rapidly becoming known as the modern day miracle, as this simple treatment has very successfully given relief to many people. In 1979, research by Roger Callaghan, an American hypnotherapist and psychotherapist, arrived at an important conclusion that... "all negative emotions arise from a disturbance or blockage in our body's energy system".
The effectiveness of EFT only makes sense if it is related to the human energy system. In addition to having a physical body which is fuelled by food, we humans also run on an intricate energy system which is fuelled by electrical impulses that run throughout the body. The EFT treatment is derived from its roots in ancient Chinese medicine focusing on the oriental energy meridian system, whereby energy (chi) follows through and around the body within invisible pathways, linking the organ systems together and coming to the surface of the body at certain points. These acupressure points are gently tapped upon or light pressure is applied while being "tuned" into and emotional or physical problem.
